A local girl... through and through

I grew up in the Renton Highlands... graduating from Liberty High School in the late 80's, later finding myself teaching at my Alma mater. I spent 12 great years as an Art and Math teacher, working with some of the finest high school students in the school, helping them prepare for careers as artists in AP Studio Art.

I taught in the Tahoma School district from 2014-2024, both at Tahoma Junior High and Tahoma High School.  I enjoyed working with a large team of Art Teachers and terrific staff.  Tahoma/Maple Valley is really a great place!

My husband and I have lived in Maple Valley for almost 30 years now, and have loved raising our two boys here. It's a great town, and we really feel a part of it. We participate in our church and boy scouting, and enjoy volunteering in the community with these organizations and at our boys schools.

What led me to real estate...

After leaving my teaching position in 2006, I returned to school, and then into the Interior Design profession, side by side with my husband Glen. We ran our own Custom Home & Design company... Cedar River Design Build, L.L.C. together for 12 years.  I've enjoyed the design work I've done for the company, but felt my interests pulling me more toward real estate.

What I can bring to the real estate experience...

I joined Windermere Real Estate/Maple Valley in 2010 and have  enjoyed my work in here a great deal! I will, with great enthusiasm help you list/sell your home or help you find the perfect new home for you and your family! This career is a great fit for me and uses my background in Art and Interior Design well. This sets me apart from many in the real estate industry. I have an eye for color and an interest in style in homes. I look forward to continuing to apply this expertise to my current career.
